OIAMA – Operation In As Much As is a day when several churches in the community come together and perform mission projects throughout our city. It will be held in the spring of 2017. Watch the love letter and website for updates.
BGAKAC– Bartow Give A Kid A Chance is usually held the second to the last Saturday in July- this year it will be July 23. Volunteers are needed to help hand out school supplies to needy families in the community.
Back Pack Buddies– we collect food on a weekly basis to distribute to needy children in the school district. These bags are packed on Wednesday nights beginning at 5:00 in the Cornerstone Room. We are always in need of donations of Spaghetti Oh’s, Beenie Weenies, Pop Tarts, Macaroni and Cheese, fruit cups, juice boxes and Ramen noodles. You can drop donations off in the black plastic tub in the kitchen area.
Blood Drives– these are held every other month. We are always looking for volunteers to sit at the check in desk and to help with closing up the church after the drive is completed. If you can help out, please see Courtney Meckley or contact the church office.
Summer Feeding Program– every Monday during the months of June and July, we help pass out lunches to needy families in the community. All food is donated, we just need to be available to pass out the food and clean up afterward. If you are interested in helping, please see Denise Manning or contact the church office.
Meals on Wheels– package and deliver meals every third Tuesday of the month. If you are interested in helping out, please see Susan Ingram or contact the church office.
