Leigh grew up in Carrollton, GA with many dear friends in Cartersville. She graduated from Carrollton High School, Presbyterian College and the University of Georgia School of Law. After practicing law for five years at a firm in downtown Atlanta, Leigh attended Columbia Theological Seminary. She was ordained to serve a church in Conyers, GA, as a solo pastor and then served as an Associate Pastor at Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church in Ormond Beach, FL, before coming to First Presbyterian. Leigh and her husband Chris have two children, Amelia, in college, and Benjamin, who is at Cartersville High School. Leigh enjoys running, reading, outdoor activities and music.
